Sunday we landed in Romans 9, and it wasn't an easy one. We'll stay in Romans 9–11 the rest of the month, working our way to Paul's doxology in 11:33–36. Here's what else is coming up.

Serving Baptist Student Ministry
We're cooking for Baptist Student Ministry on September 14, loaded baked potatoes, pulled pork, cake, and brownies. If you can show up at 8:30 AM to help cook and serve, we'd love the extra hands.
Amp'd Up Turns 5
Amp'd Up turns 5 on Tuesday, September 23, 6–8 PM, right here at the church. Every church in our Association is welcome to bring their students. Games, food, and drinks for the older kids, and a Mini Amp'd Up for the younger ones: pizza, praise, and a glow party.
No Adult Bible Study that night. Everybody's either serving or showing up. If you can serve, talk to Kaylee or me.
Men's Ministry Cookout
Our first Men's Ministry gathering is Sunday, September 20, at Terry's house. We'll start at 3:00 PM, do a short devotional at halftime, then settle in for the rest of the Washington game. Hamburgers on the grill. Bring a chair.
A New Way to Give
